Tell us how it went! What do you think went well during our Open House night? What suggestions do you have to make it smoother/better next year?
Via the letter we sent at the beginning of the new semester, we gave you a warning as to the increase of the work load that would be provided for the rest of the year. This is to help increase your stamina and endurance to prepare you for middle school, high school, and beyond. How have you changed your HW routine to accommodate (allow time for) the extra assignments? Have you completed all your spelling assignments on the first night? Have you taken your 20-minute reading practice assignments more seriously? Have you found a quiet place to work so you can focus on your studies to complete them in a more efficient manner? Share your ideas and strategies with others in your class.
We are one semester away from middle school! What are your concerns or worries as a parent? What are your concerns or worries as a student? How do you think it will be different than elementary school?
What are your resolutions for the New Year? Are you going to work on becoming more healthy, more philanthropic, more studious?

We are in Week 7 of our DARE Program and students are learning ways to effectively resolve conflict and make good decisions. What strategies have you learned that will help you make good decisions when you are faced with difficult or challenging situations?
We had a great time on our trip to the Crystal Coast on Oct. 5! We had lots of great parents to help chaperone our students. We would like your feedback as to what went well on the trip and what we can change to make it better for next year. Also, we will be creating an account for parents to upload pictures from the trip, so they can be in a central place for all to share and order. Info to come soon!
